Even the Most Successful Entrepreneurs had help Scaling Up
While the number of startups is growing, the scarcity of scaleups remains a challenge. That’s why we’ve developed LB Founders, a peer-to-peer platform designed to help founders grow their businesses in Asia and globally. Startups often struggle to access experienced mentors, networks, and tailored support services, hindering their ability to effectively manage the scale-up phase. Experienced mentors tend to be executives, so we welcome them into our community.
Our goal is for you to connect with experts, not sales consultants. We want you to connect without the distraction of competition. Therefore, we have a limited and selective admission process to ensure a safe space to share ideas without the pressure of competition or consultants/coaches.
Transition to the next level of leadership while adapting to new work environments (job, market, shareholders). While you may already have mastered leadership tools, reaching this stage requires adaptation, as what got you here may not be sufficient for the next steps. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to practice and refine your skills with peers, rather than individual coaching, in a safe and supportive environment. This allows you to cultivate your professional posture, refine your attitude, and enhance your soft skills, preparing you for the challenges ahead. Please note, however, that Lemon Boost does not offer multicultural classroom training.
Lemon Boost is an exclusive peer network, ensuring that you have access to like-minded individuals. Founders and leaders often overestimate their networking abilities, relying too much on their positional power rather than their personal power. They may believe they are proficient, when in fact they may lack the skills necessary to make meaningful connections. Our program creates a peer group environment that mirrors real-life situation. Unlike traditional individual approach, our approach emphasizes hands-on group setting experiences. You learn to strategically maintain relationships, with a focus on undervalued connections.
By definition, leaders easily overload themselves. It might be your case. Out of duty or generosity, your natural tendency is to respond as much as possible to solicitations. This exhaustion affects your performance and personal life.
The first mistake is thinking that your fatigue does not affect others: family, friends, team, or company. The second mistake is continually pushing your limits. The third one is underestimating how much this attitude destabilizes your life balance and, consequently, undermines emotional stability.
This situation is especially bad when living abroad, in an isolated or new culture such as Japan or Asia.
While startup pitches focus on potential and innovation, scaleup pitches require a more sophisticated approach that highlights growth metrics, market positioning, and strategic vision. Recognizing the differences between startup and scaleup pitches is essential for effectively communicating the value and potential of a growing business to investors and stakeholders.
We help you:
– Adapt your branding to enhance your visibility and credibility,
– Deliver compelling pitches that resonate with prescribers, investors and customers alike.
As the startup progresses and matures, there comes a point where specialization becomes necessary. This transition from a generalist to an expert is important to evolve and transition the startup team from a versatile, multi-functional group to a focused, specialized, and leadership-driven team capable of steering the company toward its goals and objectives.
Fostering a positive culture of inclusion, agility, and adaptability is essential for organizational success in today’s globalized business environment. By embracing diversity, promoting agility, and cultivating cultural intelligence, organizations can create a supportive and innovative workplace culture that drives growth and success in both Western and Eastern markets
We offer resources to develop skills, delegate effectively, manage stress, and maintain work-life balance. Learn strategies and techniques for delegating tasks and responsibilities to your team members, freeing up your time to focus on what really matters to you.
Effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution may not always be enjoyable tasks, especially if they involve difficult conversations or challenging situations. However, as a founder or an executive, it’s essential to recognize the importance of these skills and be willing to engage in them, even if they’re uncomfortable. Ignoring communication challenges or avoiding conflict can lead to missed opportunities, damaged relationships, and hindered business growth.
We recognize the unique characteristics and challenges faced by family-owned and women-owned businesses. Despite these challenges, you bring distinct strengths and perspectives to the table, contributing to innovation, diversity, and economic growth. By understanding and addressing your specific constraints, you can achieve long-term success.
